NOVA Commercial Services/Factoring System (NOVA-CS)


Overview

WSA, in conjunction with a diverse team of factoring experts, has completed its two-year design and development of a state-of-the-art factoring software package. The result: Nova Commercial Services/Factoring (Nova-CS), the most advanced and powerful system for factoring worldwide.

In keeping with WSA's 27 year tradition of supplying commercial lenders with the right solution to their IT needs, Nova-CS is a sophisticated and flexible package of programs allowing lenders to efficiently manage and expand their portfolios. Nova-CS is capable of handling large client and customer bases in multiple industries and currencies. Nova-CS enables the lender to be more competitive by supporting a variety of loan types including receivables, inventory, letters of credit, and term/ mortgage loans.

Nova-CS employs the latest technologies of a 3-tier client/server engine based on Microsoft's Visual Basic programming language and SQL Server database. This powerful engine will allow several hundred PC's to be networked, real time, across multiple office locations. Benefits for both lender and client exist with Nova-CS's secured client access to the server via Internet or Intranet.

Efficiencies, in the form of paper reduction, are gained through Nova-CS's extensive EDI capabilities and links to electronic images of checks/remittances and invoices allowing for a heads-up posting environment. Additional proficiencies are realized with auto check application, Instant Credit approvals, team and individually queued workloads, and a detailed general ledger system.
